The Shootist Gun Belt & Holster Set is our replication of the Gun Belt and Half Breed Design Single Loop Holster(s). Worn by John Wayne when he portrayed J. B. John Bernard Books a character who was the culmination of all the previous Old West Cowboy characters John Wayne portrayed throughout his illustrious film career.

The J. B. Books character was an individual who quite often walked that thin line between Lawman and Criminal having worked on both sides of that thin line, while maintaining a code of personal ethics which would not be breached. J. B. Mantra or code was " I Won't be Wronged! I Won't be Insulted! I Won't be laid a hand on! I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them!"

Our High Ride Cartridge Gun Belt and Half Breed Single Loop Holster is one of our most sought after Gun Belt and Holster Sets. We create this Cartridge Gun Belt and Half Breed Single Loop Holster from Premium Grade Heavyweight Skirting Leather the finest for Gun Leather. These Shootist Cartridge Gun Belt and Holster sets are made from 12 to 13 oz Leather for the Belt and Holster. The Belts & Holsters are also lined with 4 to 5 oz. Leather which creates a finished product Belt & Holster which measure 1/4 of an inch thick.

The Cartridge Gun Belt is a full 2 1/2 inches Wide and comes with 12 to 36 ammo loops based on ammunition caliber & waist size centered across the back of the Gun Belt. The Leather Half Breed Design Single Loop Holsters are leather lined with an open toe and the holster(s) are available in either Cross Draw or Side Draw versions which also come with a Hammer Thong to secure your Revolver in the Holster.

With both of these accurate measurements we are able to correctly fit your Gun Belt while also ensuring proper Holster placement while leaving room for adjustment over of your clothing.
