Polk Original Design Wes Hardin style Shoulder Harness and Vertical Holster System is just like the one made in 1895 at Sweetwater, Texas for John Wesley Hardin.  It was in the later years approximately 1894 or 95 of the J.K. Polk Saddlery just shortly before Samuel Dale Myres ("Tio Sam") purchased the J. K. Polk Saddlery in 1895 at Sweetwater, Texas that the famed Gun Fighter Wes Hardin and the Famed Holster Designer J. K. Polk met.  The Result of this chance meeting produced The 1895 Wes Hardin Sweetwater Shoulder Harness and Vertical Draw Holster you see here and considering Wes Hardin was considered the Deadliest Gun Fighter of the Old West this must have worked and worked well.
