   Our version of an old cowboy favorite a 1897 western style leather shotgun scabbard this classic 1897 style shotgun scabbard is made from only the highest grade top quality skirting leather lined with a smooth suede leather lining to preserve and protect your favorite shotgun when holstered. Adjustable saddle strapping is included. Available in either jet black or rich russet colors and in a wide variety of hand tooled carvings and stamping options. A bit of trivia the 1897 model shotgun was an evolution of the earlier version 1893 shotgun model, designed by John Browning. It was the first truly successful pump-action shotgun produced.
