The Half Breed Design Holster has been a favorite of Cowboys, Frontiersmen and Lawman since the late 1800s.  The Half Breed Design Gun Holster has no skirting simply a fold back for a belt loop usually 3 inches in width and is a high riding holster design.  Throughout John Wayne's Hollywood career especially between the 1940s through the 1970s he wore a Half Breed Design Side Holster to carry his Single Action Army Revolvers.

We can make many of these products in house with a much quicker delivery time schedule of 8 to 10 weeks on custom made to order products. We have tried to stay a loyal reseller of gun leather products for a company that has been in business since 1889 and as far as I know the oldest still operating today.

We offer these Duke #44 Half Breed Design Single Loop Holsters in a Cross Draw version and a Side Draw version for either Left Hand Shooters or Right Hand Shooters.  In designing your holster you can specify if you would like to have no holster sheath lining or you can choose leather or suede leather lining and you can choose if you would like any leather stamping or carving.

  The Old Trading Post Half Breed Design Single Loop Holster is made from Premium Grade U. S. A. Leather and is available in Black, Brown and Russet Colors.

Lined holster (lined using "roll over" method for easy re-holstering)
Open muzzle and hammer thong standard (leg thong on request)
Cross draw available

Available for most Single Actions and Double Actions (3" to 7 1/2" barrels).
